PaRK IS Summer Camps

In the morning, children will go to the beach, where they will play and dive in the sea under the supervision of school staff. The afternoon will be dedicated to dance. Children will experiment with and develop various dance styles such as Street Jazz, Hip Hop, MTV Style, House Dance, Modern Dance, and Free Dance, among others. They will also practise different rhythms and movements and participate in choreographic development exercises.

In the afternoon, children will learn more about healthy eating, explore the origin of foods, experiment with new flavours, and venture into the culinary world, accompanied by Nutritionist Maria Nogueira Santos and Chef Luísa Braga Amaral. They will bring lots of fun and joy through games, group dynamics, and delicious healthy recipes.

In the afternoon, children will have inline skating lessons interspersed with jumps on trampolines and/or inflatables! You can bring your own rollerblades and protective gear if you have them, but all equipment will be provided.

In the morning, children will go to the beach, where they will play and dive in the sea under the supervision of school staff. 
In the afternoon, children will enhance their skills in our skate park, learning technical manoeuvres, navigating ramps, and jumping over obstacles to become real skaters! You can bring your own skateboard and protective gear if you have them, but all equipment will be provided.

Surfing or bodyboarding lessons, along with numerous games and activities at Carcavelos beach. Students will have two classes per day, one in the morning and another in the afternoon, each lasting approximately two hours. Students must know how to swim.

During the week, children will be divided into different age groups to develop and refine their rugby skills and techniques, guided by coaches from Oeiras Rugby. This will be combined with fun activities such as mini-golf, canoeing, traditional games, baseball, and more. Children are expected to arrive at Jamor at 9 am and be picked up at 5 pm.

ALONG THE ALENTEJO COAST

In this fantastic 7 nights / 8 days surf trip, you will travel down the Alentejo coast surfing on several beautiful beaches, such as São Torpes, Malhão, Monte Clérigo, Odeceixe, Amado, Arrifana, Praia do Tonel and Zambujeira do Mar. We work with highly qualified and experienced surf instructors who will take you to the next level of your surfing journey.

Our accommodation is close to the beach, providing easy access to morning and afternoon surfing lessons. You will learn about water safety, surfing equipment, and how to look after your body in this high-adrenaline sport.

This camp will be held in English with all meals, transport and materials included.

STAGEDOOR, MUSICAL THEATRE SCHOOL

This is a 5-day programme, running from 9 am to 5 pm, at STAGEDOOR Musical Theatre School. You will experience the magic of Musicals, learning iconic numbers from Broadway and West End Musicals, or from well-known musical films, while creating an original musical from scratch! Classes are taught by graduate Musical Theatre teachers.

The week concludes with a presentation open to family and friends at the PaRK IS auditorium to showcase all that you have learned.

DANCE, SINGING, FASHION/STYLING, AND DIGITAL BOOTCAMP

A 5-day programme, running from 9 am to 5 pm, at Udance Dance School.

Throughout this week, participants will engage in disciplines such as dance, singing, and fashion/styling, culminating in a final event – the recording of a music video. Collaborating with teachers, students will work on a specific song, creating choreography, singing parts, and designing outfits. They will document various class moments to compile a final video showcasing their work. By bridging the performing arts with the digital realm, this boot camp aims to teach teenagers rules and strategies for creating content for social media.

The week will conclude with a presentation at Udance Dance School for family and friends.
