6) Evaluation:

– Internal Applicants
PaRK International School operates an inclusive admissions policy and encourages all students to attempt the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The design of the IBDP enables students to focus on the subjects in which they have special interest or aptitude. PaRK International School recognises the demanding nature of the IBDP and therefore acceptance into our IBDP requires a minimum of 6 ‘C’s in the IGCSE examinations or equivalent.

– External Applicants
For applicants joining PaRK International School at Grade 11 who have not experienced the IGCSE programme, a determination on their eligibility for admission will be made on the qualifications they do have (eg, MYP), their previous school reports, their undertaking the GL CAT 4 online admissions test (see above), and, If necessary, an online language assessment test. Some higher level subjects may have higher entry requirements to ensure the student will be able to meet the subject’s demands. Students are invited to do an interview with the IB Coordinator to discuss the IBDP subject choices. Students entering grade 12 must be currently doing IB in their present school in which the subjects can be transferable to ensure academic success.
